1. Services Overview
SourceHR provides a subscription-based compliance research and intelligence platform. Services are delivered in tiered offerings and may include:
1.1 Platform Services (All Tiers)
- Regulatory monitoring
- Compliance intelligence
- CARA alerts, signals, and dashboards
- Research summaries and analytics
Platform Services are informational only and do not constitute legal advice.
1.2 HR Practitioner Support (Select Tiers)
Certain subscription tiers include access to a dedicated HR practitioner who may provide:
- Operational HR guidance
- Policy and process best practices
- Workforce risk context
HR practitioners do not provide legal advice and do not create an attorney-client relationship.
1.3 Attorney Access (Premium / Enterprise Tiers Only)
Certain subscription tiers include access to licensed attorneys for limited legal consultation.
IMPORTANT: Access to an attorney does not automatically create an attorney-client relationship. Any attorney-client relationship exists only where a separate written Attorney Engagement Agreement has been executed between the customer and the attorney or law firm.
SourceHR is not a law firm, does not practice law, and does not itself provide legal advice.
2. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Use of SourceHR services does not create an attorney-client relationship. Any attorney-reviewed content remains informational unless governed by a separate written engagement agreement.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use services for internal business purposes only
- Maintain confidentiality of access credentials
- Ensure independent legal review of decisions
4. Subscription & Payment
Subscriptions are billed according to your selected plan. Fees are non-refundable unless expressly stated. Stripe or other processors may be used for payment processing.
SourceHR charges fees for platform access, technology, and service coordination. Legal services, where applicable, are governed by attorney engagement terms and structured to comply with applicable state bar rules, including prohibitions on improper fee sharing.
5. Service Limitations
SourceHR does not guarantee:
- Legal compliance
- Risk elimination
- Enforcement avoidance
Compliance decisions remain the responsibility of the customer.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SourceHR from claims arising from misuse of services or reliance on information as legal advice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SourceHR's aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees paid by the customer in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
SourceHR may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
